    Speaker:  Dr. Jim Peach, Regents Professor, New Mexico State University, Department of Economics, International Business and Applied Statistics

    Dr. Peach received his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978 and has been a professor at NMSU since 1980 and his work has been published in a variety of journals and books. Dr. Peach has received many awards, including an Award for Outstanding Funded Research and an Award for Teaching Excellence.  His research interest are in Economics; regional economic modeling and economic policy; U.S.-Mexico border research on demographic changes, income distribution and policies.
