    Topic:  ADA Best Practices From Interview Through Employment

    Introduce the Southwest ADA Center, a federally funded leading resource on the Americans with Disabilities Act and related disability rights laws.

    Discuss ADA best practices from interview to employment. This includes disability/medical inquiries and enacting and satisfying the reasonable accommodations process/requirements, including what the employer and employee should do and avoid when it comes to the interactive process.

    Provide helpful ADA resources!


    Speaker Bio:  

    For over 28 years, Julie Ballinger has worked in the Disability Rights field providing leadership, technical assistance and training on disability rights and issues. As a Regional Affiliate for the Southwest ADA Center, her work includes ADA in-depth training, technical assistance, ADA best practice approaches, and disability awareness/issues concerning employment, state/local government obligations, and business/nonprofit requirements. 

    To register for this meeting,  simply CLICK HERE to complete a registration form.  You must register the Friday the event. You may pay at the door (cash or check) or through our PayPal site below.  No credit card payments will be taken at the door.

    Our reservations must be provided by noon on the Monday before the meeting. If you have made a reservation and cancel after this time, you will be charged for lunch. No shows will also be billed for lunch.  Registrations are nontransferrable/nonfundable.

Please note that all costs charged to SNMSHRM for this service have been added to the cost of various items. These fees include a 2.9% fee plus a $0.30 transaction fee.

    If you are paying for a monthly meeting, please remember you must still complete the registration form.  Guests should pay the Non-Member fee.
